An Elgin woman who encouraged her teenage daughter to beat another girl, even going so far as to drive to her to the park where the fight was to take place and videotape the beating, is facing felony charges along with her daughter, police said.
Anita R. Joost, 46, was charged with aggravated battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police said Joost’s 16-year-old daughter was having a disagreement with a 15-year-old girl on April 2 and proposed having a fight with the girl at a local park.
Police say Joost drove her daughter to the park and urged her to “kick her ass.” Police say she videotaped and took photos as her daughter proceeded to hit the other girl and pull her hair, causing the other girl’s mouth to bleed.
When at first the rival girls were only talking to each other, police said, Joost — watching from a nearby car — called another girl standing near her daughter and said, “Tell her that enough’s enough. Either kick her ass or let’s go home.”

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
