A 23-year-old man in Tangerang was shot and killed after trying to escape with a stolen notebook on Tuesday.
Haerudin was trying to escape after two residents caught him stealing a laptop from a car parked on the lawn at the Police Academy in Curug area, Tangerang, Banten province.
Two locals caught Haerudin in flagrante delicto and yelled at him, triggering several academy members to chase him. One of them, Brig. Fisnu, fired four warning shots in the air but Haerudin refused to stop.
The officer allegedly aimed the fifth shot at Haerudin’s feet, but the bullet hit his back instead, killing him. http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2012/04/18/police-shoot-and-kill-laptop-thief.html

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
