Police are investigating the death of a 41-year-old man after he was shocked with a stun gun when he punched an officer and fought others in east Houston on Friday afternoon, authorities said.
Joe Faltesek died in the incident at about 3:30 p.m. at 526 Donnacorey, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said patrol officers were dispatched to the scene on an emergency call about an overdose.
Officers found Faltesek acting in a bizarre manner and being aggressive toward his family and Houston Fire Department paramedics, who had been called to the scene.
