The teenager who threw a party while his mother's decomposing body was hidden in the bedroom told police he stabbed her repeatedly because he was angry with her for scolding him about staying out late.
According to Miami-Dade Police, officers found the body of Renette Emile, 35, in her apartment with 14 stab wounds to her body.

While she was sleeping, he strangled her until she lost consciousness but when he realized she was still breathing, he got a butcher knife and stabbed her in the back of the neck before turning her over and stabbing her repeatedly in the body and arms until she was dead.
His baby brother was sleeping in the next room, according to the Miami Herald.
He went to bed and then cleaned the crime scene the next morning.
