A 20-year-old Indiana University student fell to her death from an apartment balcony during a party early on Friday morning.
Linden Whitt, of Mishawaka, Indiana and Joseph Lao, also 20, of Naperville, fell from an apartment balcony at around 3am on Friday.
The two were standing, Linden in front of Joseph, leaning against the balcony railing, police said.
Joseph lost his balance and they both fell over the railing, eight feet from the ground. Linden landed first with Joseph dropping on top of her, witnesses told police.
