Police rushed to the bar in Adachi Ward to find 42-year-old Ayumi Omomo bleeding from wounds to her face and head.
Eyewitnesses say her attacker Yuko Kohara, 43, also stamped on her abdomen, NTV reported. Omomo was taken to hospital where she later died, police said.
According to police, the two women were not acquainted, but had been drinking together when the argument started.
