LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- Actor Clint Eastwood's daughter Francesca is receiving death threats after a controversial stunt where she burned a $100,000 Hermes handbag.
The budding model did it as part of a photo shoot organized by her boyfriend, photographer Tyler Shields.
The photos feature a red, crocodile Birkin bag slashed with a chainsaw and then set on fire.
Burning the hard-to-get bag has sparked outrage from fashionistas who revere the hand-crafted bags as works of art.
Eastwood has also been attacked on Facebook and Twitter for wasting $100,000 in such a bad economy.
The Birkin bag one of the most sought-after handbags in the world, and customers are often required to go on very long waiting lists for a chance to buy one.
