SANTA ANA (KTLA) -- A 30-year old woman was sentenced to 25-years to life in prison for her role in the beating death of her 4-year-old son, who died after enduring months of horrific abuse.
Gabriela Morales was convicted last month of assault on a child likely to produce death and child abuse for the May 30, 2008, killing.
According to prosecutor Morales and her live-in boyfriend Alberto Guzman beat, starved and forced little Brandon Morales to sleep on the floor continuously during his short, four years of life.
