Three Americans have been convicted in the brutal murder of a B.C. businessman.
William Dobbs, of Tsawwassen, B.C., was killed while on vacation in Indio, Calif., in 2007. He was tortured and forced to hand over his debit card and PIN, then driven to a remote area, where his neck was slashed. His mutilated body was found on the side of the road. He was 48.
Ronald Wesley Handwerk, Fernando Antonio Benavidez and Jackie Lynn Dunson, all in their 30s, have been found guilty of the robbery/murder, reports the Palm Springs Desert Sun.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
