BOULDER, Colo. -- An 8-year-old girl is expected to survive after she was impaled on a fence at a community pool.
The Boulder County Sheriff's Office said the girl fell on top of a wrought iron fence Monday while climbing to get into the pool area. The girl suffered a serious puncture wound to her chest.
