Man shot dead in Oakland while pushing stroller

A man was shot and killed in East Oakland on Wednesday while pushing a child in a toy car, authorities said.

The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was pushing a young child in a toy stroller when he was shot, police said. The child was not harmed.

The assailant fled in a car. No arrests have been made.
