Three brothers hit by a train when they couldn't jump from the tracks because of a deep gorge below - two killed

Two New York brothers were killed and a third injured when they got hit by a cargo train after becoming stranded on tracks running over a deep gorge, making it impossible for them to jump.

Brian Reed, 25, and his half-brother Justin Halpainy-Livermore, 20, died in the Westfield village accident. Reed’s brother Benjamin Reed, 26, was seriously hurt.

The three were walking along a trestle above the Chautauqua Creek when they saw the train approaching at around 6pm on Friday.
