TOKYO — Police said Monday they have arrested a bus driver in Tokyo over the death of an eight-year-old girl who was fatally struck by his bus in Edogawa Ward.
According to police, the girl was skateboarding across a street at a pedestrian crossing at around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday when she was run over by the bus. She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead about one hour later, TBS reported.
