At least three people have been killed when the car they were travelling in crashed and exploded in Melbourne's inner north this afternoon.
The Mercedes smashed into a parked car, a power pole, and a tree before bursting into flames on Westgarth street.
It is believed the fire broke out when electricity arced from the power pole and ignited fuel which had leaked from the wreck.
