A father was fatally shot in front of his family Sunday following a confrontation at a Tomball-area park.
Deputies tell KTRK (Channel 13) that Ramundo Zerate, Jr., 43, and his family decided to leave the park after the fight but that they were followed home by the man who is now accused of shooting him.
Investigators say that once the family reached their home, the gunman got out of his car with a shotgun and fired at the victim, hitting him in the head and the abdomen, KTRK reported.
