COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A Colorado Springs man died early Sunday after police say he was shot in the chest when a gun fired as another man was handling it.
Police said the shooting happened about 9:35 p.m. Saturday as James Crouch, 27, and David McRae, 22, were looking at guns together in a home at 429 N.
Nevada Ave. A gun that McRea was handling fired, striking Crouch in the chest, police said. Crouch was rushed to Penrose Main Hospital, where he died a few hours later.
