A 9-month-old Pasadena baby died last week after a television weighing more than 60 pounds fell on him, police said.

"Apparently the child was crawling and tried to pull himself up on a table this big TV was sitting on," Mitchell said Saturday.
The table was unsteady, and when the child pulled on it, the tube-style television rolled off, hitting the child's head, Mitchell said. "The mother heard a crash and went into the room where the TV was," he said. "She saw the child lying on the floor."
