SANTA ANA, calif. (KTLA) -- A Lake Elsinore man convicted of nearly cutting a man's head off during a deadly stabbing attack in 2006 has been sentenced to 25- years to life in prison.

Hector Delio Aguilar Jaramillo, 42, was convicted in February of killing his sister-in-law’s boyfriend on Halloween night in 2006.
