A 38-year-old Cicero man was charged with torching a Southwest Side building where his estranged girlfriend lived — a blaze Jan. 14 that killed one of her neighbors.
Juan Adame, also known as “Jaime Garcia,” was arrested Wednesday for federal arson in the blaze that killed James Maca in the 4200 block of West 63rd.
Macca, 60, died of carbon monoxide intoxication and inhalation of smoke and soot, officials said. Adame’s ex-girlfriend was not home during the fire.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
