Bank worker kills himself after he takes massive overdose of caffeine tablets

A bank worker died after swallowing a massive overdose of caffeine tablets, an inquest has heard.

Edward Fisher had caffeine levels in his blood more than 120 times higher than those of a coffee drinker after he digested the tablets.

An inquest at Crewe, in Cheshire, heard how the 24-year-old had walked into his brother's bedroom in an agitated state after swallowing the pills.
