In a cold, flat voice, Ohio killer tells 911 he strangled his roommate

It was the killer's lifeless voice that did in his victim's mother. In a near monotone, Phillip Ham tells a 911 dispatcher that he has killed his roommate, 20-year-old Meagan Fambry of suburban Cincinnati. "This morning my roommate and I got in an argument, and I honestly lost my mind and I went off and I choked her and I killed her," Hamm said in an audio tape of his emergency call released Friday. "And it probably happened a few hours ago. Honestly, I don't know what happened to myself. I really don't," he says dully. Fambry's mother, Elizabeth Autry, told WCPO-TV she couldn't believe "how calm he was. So matter of factly (sic). He wasn't upset. He wasn't hysterical that he had just killed someone."
