A 9-year-old boy has been shot dead by his 14-year-old brother in what Boston police are calling a tragic accident.
Officers responded to reports of a shot fired inside a three-story home in the 600 block of Morton Street just after 11.30am Friday, only to find the nine-year-old fatally wounded in the chest.
The shooter, identified as the victim’s 14-year-old brother, reportedly fled the scene but was detained by police a few blocks away with the gun still in his hands.
