MULTAN, Pakistan - Pakistani police re-arrested a convicted cannibal on Monday after finding a young boy's head in his home. Mohammad Arif, 35, and his brother Mohammad Farman, 30, from the small town of Darya Khan in central Pakistan, served two years in jail for cannibalism and were released last year. Police said the two had dug up more than 100 corpses from the local graveyard and eaten them. "Residents informed police after a stench emanated from the house of the two brothers. We raided the house on Monday morning and found the head of a young boy," a district police chief, Ameer Abdullah, told Reuters. "We have arrested one of the brothers, Mohammad Arif, and are conducting raids for the arrest of the other brother." Police were searching nearby graveyards to see if they had been disturbed, he said.

Horrific footage has emerged of a cannibal eating the leg of a Muslim slaughtered by a rampaging Christian mob in the Central African Republic. The victim was hauled from a bus, battered and then stabbed before being set on fire in the capital city Bangui, according to the BBC. In the aftermath of the incident, one of his attackers grabbed hold of his leg and then began to devour it. The cannibal, Ouandja Magloire - who also calls himself ‘Mad Dog’ - told a BBC reporter that his action was revenge for the murders of his pregnant wife, his sister-in-law and her baby. He claimed that Muslims were responsible and he was angry with them. ‘Mad Dog’ spotted his victim on a minibus and gathered a crowd of about 20 Christian youths who forced the bus driver to stop. The strange sight of a 47-year-old handcuffed man surrounded by police walking through the woods while wearing a woman's wig must have puzzled many Cape Cod residents on the morning of April 9, 2000. The man, Hadden Clark, a cross-dressing cannibal killer convicted in Maryland of two murders, was looking for the graves of two women he claimed to have buried nearly two decades ago. The woods, located in the town of Wellfleet, were part of a 7.3-acre property once owned by his grandfather, Silas Clark. Though Clark grew up in Pennsylvania, the alleged serial killer spent his summers in Wellfleet where he worked in restaurants. Clark also met with authorities in Meriden, Connecticut, where he claims to have buried another body around 1980 in a family property owned by his maternal grandfather Maynard Scranton. According to Maryland prison authorities Clark told a fellow inmate whom he believes is Jesus Christ that he killed as many as a dozen women and girls along the Eastern Seaboard between the mid-70s and 1993, the year he was arrested.

Karl Denke a.k.a. "The Cannibal of Ziębice"

For reasons unknown, Denke engaged in cannibalism, killing his first victim, one 25-year-old Emma Sander, in 1909. From that point on, he continued his series of killings, claiming the lives of dozens of people. Reports suggested that he also disposed of the flesh of his victims by selling it as pork and/or offering to what guests he had in the house. His killings ended on December 21, 1924, when he attacked a man named Vincenz Olivier with an axe. Olivier escaped and identified his attacker as Denke to a coachman named Gabriel, who then called in the authorities. Denke was investigated, and officers found identification papers for twelve travelers, assorted clothing, a pair of drums holding large pieces of meat in brine, numerous types of bones, and pots full of fat. Officers speculated from the amount of remains that Denke had killed about thirty victims. He was arrested, and the following day, Denke committed suicide by hanging himself in his prison cell. Decades later, the case has been mostly forgotten, with those who are still aware of Denke addressing him as "the unusual case" or "the forgotten cannibal".

A Kansas man whose gruesome online chats about killing, roasting and eating children shocked even hardened child porn investigators was sentenced Wednesday to 30 years in prison. And when investigators seized data from Michael D. Arnett’s computer last May, they found images of a naked and unidentified boy, no more than 2 years old, lying in a roasting pan and sitting in an oven. Agents determined the pictures had been taken in Arnett’s home, court records said. Still, authorities said at the sentencing hearing that neither Arnett nor Ronald William Brown of Largo, Fla., ever acted on the grisly fantasies found in their online discussions.

Arnett, 38, of Roeland Park, pleaded guilty to one count of production of child pornography in February, hoping to persuade a Kansas City, Kan., federal judge to sentence him to only 20 years in prison, rather than the 30-year maximum. But the scales of justice tipped away from the former paramedic who had an easy way with children when the father of the child in the roasting pan stepped up to testify. The horror of the year since Arnett’s arrest was clear in the father’s soft voice. “That ain’t something to play with,” the father said. “That should never have been done. You were dealing with kids.”

Man held suspected of eating his grandmother

The dismembered body of a 95-year-old grandmother was found spread around her property in the Riviera town of Nice this week. The gruesome discovery was made by the victim’s daughter on Thursday morning, who has named in the French media as Arlette P. The daughter immediately raised the alarm and it was only when the police arrived that the true horror of what became of her mother unfolded before them. On searching the house police discovered the elderly woman’s legs in the freezer, and found her liver on a shelf in the fridge, French news site Le point reported. Most of the rest of the victim’s body was found buried in the garden of the family house, located on the hills above Nice. Other body parts were also left by the entrance to the property.
