Three people have died after a fire in a house rented by six female students from Marist College.
Two women killed in the blaze in Poughkeepsie, New York yesterday were students, while a man who also died was not studying at Marist.
Four other people escaped the house by jumping out of the windows and were not seriously injured.
The victims have not yet named, but the two women are believed to have been in their early 20s.
