DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - The Good Samaritan turned out to be bad.
Matthew Lee Scott says he ran out of gas then was robbed by a supposed good guy.
Scott tells police he accepted a ride from a stranger, who offered to take him to a gas station.
Later, Scott says the man forced him to withdraw $220 from a cash machine.
Scott tells police in Iowa the man also tried to get him to withdraw more money from a bank.
But the Des Moines Register reports the guy made a run for it after they were questioned by a teller.
Police are still looking for the suspect.
