A 29-year-old man has been accused of raping two schoolgirls after they took alcohol and drugs at his home.
Robert Lynch is alleged to have raped the 14 and 15-year-old girls at his former home in Blairgowrie, Perthshire, on 18 or 19 May.
One of the charges alleges he raped the older girl after she lost consciousness because of the drink and drugs.
Mr Lynch, who now lives in Drumchapel, appeared in private at Perth Sheriff Court and made no plea or declaration.
The second charge accuses him of raping the 14-year-old girl after the drink and controlled drugs made her "bereft of the capacity of consent".
It is alleged that Mr Lynch ripped her clothes before raping her.
A final charge accuses Mr Lynch of taunting one of the girls the following month and breaching the peace by imitating a sexual position in front of her.
He was freed on bail and the case was continued for further examination.
Special conditions were imposed, including an order not to approach the alleged victims and not to enter the Perthshire towns of Alyth and Blairgowrie.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
